Getting an Internship
Internships are a great way to get real work experience while continuing your education and/or training. Youth interns are matched with a work environment that reflects his/her career interest. Internships are customized to fit the need to the youth and the employer, but generally they last for 150 hours, are paid a stipend and are measured and evaluated using the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan. To find out more about internships and if one is right for you, contact the nearest youth specialist.
