The featured reports here are as a result of research conducted by the REB, through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, to provide a “Community Audit” of the regional labor market. Through this grant, the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University conducted detailed research of population and labor force trends and indicators for not only our Hampden County region, but Franklin/Hampshire Counties of MA and the Greater Hartford region of Connecticut. These cross-border regions are the heart of what has come to be known as New England's "Knowledge Corridor", as spearheaded by The Hartford-Springfield Economic Partnership.
A summary of the overall Community Audit findings is also available. View download the Community Audit Project summary report in PDF format.
