The featured reports give local planning information on the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other workforce development planning documents, inlcuding the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds augmenting our WIA funds.
We will use this page to publish planning documents related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) as it pertains to those sections of the Act for which the REB has direct local planning responsibility for; which includes an infusion of WIA Title I funds to:
- Wagner-Peyser Labor Exchange Services at our One-Stop Career Centers;
- Services to WIA eligible Adults and Dislocated Workers; and
- Programs for WIA eligible youth, increased in the Act to age 24, which will include a major summer jobs component this coming summer.See Relevant Links to the right which, for now, just has the overall funding allocations. Future planning documents for how these funds can, and will be, spent will follow as federal and state guidance is issued.
