Strategic Plan
The REB Board of Directors approved at their Decmber 14, 2005 Annual Meeting a new Strategic Plan that will cover a three year period from 2006 - 2009.
The process for developing the new plan consisted of:
- Work at the staff level to re-look at our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as well as a scan of the environment for the emerging trends that could impact our local workforce development system moving forward.
- Meetings with Board Member, Tony Mott, who has expertise in strategic planning, to ensure staff kept the plan on a futuristic and "big picture" strategic path, versus a day-to-day operational one.
- Three Breakfast roundtable meetings with Board members to review the draft plan and to obtain their input and feedback for additional changes.
- Executive Committee guidance throughout the whole process.
